How To Add AppCake From Cydia To iOS 8,7,6

Before going further one thing to know is AppCake can be installed only on jailbreak iPhone, iPad and iPods. If your iOS device is not jailbroken then you will not be able to install this app to your device. You first have to jailbreak your iOS device and install Cydia on it. Add AppCake Source To Cydia

To add AppCake from Cydia ti your iphone you first have to add the iPhoneCake Cydia source for downloading AppCake. To add the iPhoneCake repo to Cydia follow these steps -

1. Tap Cydia icon on your homescreen and open Cydia.
2. Tap the "Manage" option. Go to "Sources" and select "Add" option on the top left corner.
3. It will ask you to enter Cydia/Apt URL. Here you can enter URL of any trusted Cydia source. But I would recommend you to enter the iPhoneCake's official source URL i.e "http://cydia.iphonecake.com". Then tap on "Add Source".

4. It will now show you a warning message. Tap on "Add anyway".

Now you have added the AppCake source URL to Cydia. We will now download AppCake from Cydia using this iPhoneCake source.

Installing AppCake Using iPhoneCake Source

Using the above steps we have added the iPhonceCake repo to Cydia on iOS device. We will now use this iPhoneCake repository to install AppCake on the iOS device. For this follow these steps -

1. Open Cydia. Go to "Manage" -> "Sources".
2. There you will see a new source added named as "Appcake" with a blue star icon. Tap it on.

3. Go to "All Packages" and search for "AppCake" or "AppCake for iOS 6".  If you are using iOS 4.x or 5.x then choose the "AppCake"option. But if you are using iOS 6.x, iOS 7.x or above then choose "AppCake for iOS 6" option. Also you will see "AppCake HD" it is for iPad with HD display. So if you are using iPad then go for "AppCake HD".

4. You will now see a install button on the top right corner. Tap on it and install AppCake on your iOS device.

It will now ask you to respring. Respring your iphone/ipad otherwise a white icon will appear on your homescreen with the name AppCake and AppCake will not run properly. So better respring your iOS device and then use the app.
